    Holiday Home Ownership Frequently Asked Questions

    • Can I use my holiday home all year round?

      Yes you can! Low Fell Gate has a 12 month holiday park licence, you cant live here but you can stay at your static caravan or lodge as much as you like throughout the year with no close down period.

      If you would rather pack down for the winter and come back in spring this isn’t a problem; we can arrange a ‘drain down’ of your static so it’s safe and sound from the winter frosts!

    • Can my family & friends use my holiday home?

      Yes, family & friends can use your static caravan or lodge but you can not sub let or run it as a business. Everything on site is privately owned.

    • Can we bring our dogs?

      Yes! Dogs are welcome on site but must be kept on a lead in public areas, there are some great dog walking spots nearby where you can let your dog of the lead if you wish.

    • Will I need insurance?

      Yes, you will need to have your caravan or lodge insured at all times. Just ask if you would like a few recommendations.

    • How much are the site fees & how long is the licence agreement?

      Site Fees for Static Caravans are £2650 + VAT, Lodges are £3650 + VAT

      This includes, water & WiFi, electric is billed twice a year (each plot has it’s own meter) & Calor Gas can be purchased from us on site.

      New Statics are offered with 15 years on site, New lodges with 45 years.
